LMCS Offering Psychoeducational Evaluations
Lookout Mountain Community Services (LMCS) is now offering psychoeducational evaluations for students seeking testing and instructional accommodations in the technical college and university systems.
Students who received accommodations in high school through an I.E.P. must have a comprehensive evaluation to continue those accommodations in post-secondary settings. Assessments are provided for the special education criteria of learning disabilities, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder and psychological disorders.
The assessment process follows the Georgia University System Board of Regents’ guidelines for independent evaluations.
